Privacy policy

Purpose

SportsSupport is an adaptive training-planning prototype. It uses training preferences, completed activities, strength logs, recovery information and subjective check-ins to produce explainable recommendations. It does not provide medical diagnosis or replace professional medical advice.

Data processed

• Profile and training preferences supplied by the athlete.
• Workout, activity and strength-training history.
• Recovery and wellness information, such as sleep, heart-rate variability, heart rate, stress or energy indicators, when explicitly connected by the athlete.
• Technical integration identifiers and delivery logs required to synchronize data safely.

Garmin data and consent

Garmin data will only be requested after explicit OAuth consent and only for scopes required by enabled SportsSupport features. Structured workouts will only be published after the athlete previews and approves the current workout version. Garmin data will not be used to train external AI or large-language models.

Use, sharing and sale

Data is used only to provide and evaluate SportsSupport features. It is not sold, used for advertising or shared with unrelated third parties. Infrastructure providers may process encrypted network traffic or stored data only as necessary to operate the service.

Retention and deletion

During the single-user MVP, data is retained while the project is actively evaluated or until deletion is requested. Participating athletes can request access, correction, export, disconnection or deletion through the direct project contact supplied during onboarding. OAuth access will be revoked and associated integration credentials deleted when an account is disconnected.

Security

The application uses HTTPS, access control, isolated application and database containers, non-public database networking, secret values stored outside source control and explicit approval before outbound workout publication. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
